How BrakeTireGuide Started With a Bad Shop Visit and Too Much Wrong Info Online
We built BrakeTireGuide because the brake and tire advice online was either too vague or flat-out wrong. One of us got overcharged for a loose valve cap and decided to never get caught off guard again. Another noticed a shop installed the wrong brake pad compound and did the correction himself. The third got tired of correcting bad torque specs in forum threads and started writing proper guides. We share what we’ve learned so you don’t have to figure it out the hard way.
We write brake and tire guides that get the details right. Three perspectives, one goal: information you can trust under your car.
Our team covers tire pressure monitoring, spare tires, check engine lights, brake pads, brake fluid, rotors, drums, calipers, tire sizing, rotation, and more. We come from different backgrounds, but we share hands-on experience and a commitment to getting the specs right.
